Do you
think you might be interested in being a DJ? It's not that hard.
It requires a working knowledge of Windows computers, some familiarity
with Windows Media Player, and a genuine love of music.
Where to start?
1. Come to a dance and
chat with one of the people listed as a DJ this year.
2. Take a look at the
attached documents which will help you understand how we structure
the dances.
3. The month before it
is your turn to DJ, you will be given the computer equipment you'll
need for your job. Simply follow the template, and select music
of your liking to fill in the blanks.
4. On the night of the
dance, arrive when the doors open, and set up. You will get in to
the dance free on the night you DJ. You will be required to start
and stop the music a few times during the dance, but otherwise you
will have ample time to dance to the music you selected.
